We seek outstanding scholars specializing in survey methodology, computational social science, text mining, and data science.<\/p><p>As Taiwan\u2019s premier research institution, Academia Sinica offers a collaborative and dynamic academic environment. The Center provides access to high-quality survey, digital, and administrative datasets, alongside extensive opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration to support innovative empirical research.<\/p><h3><strong>[Research Areas of Interest]<\/strong><\/h3><p>We welcome applications from scholars developing innovative empirical and computational approaches to the study of social systems. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:<\/p><ul><li>Survey methodology and methodological innovation<\/li><li>Computational social science<\/li><li>Artificial intelligence and machine learning for social science<\/li><li>Text mining, natural language processing, and computational text analysis<\/li><li>Large-scale empirical analysis using digital trace or behavioral data<\/li><li>Integration of survey data with digital trace, administrative, and other emerging data sources<\/li><\/ul><p>Applicants from diverse disciplinary backgrounds, including the <strong>social sciences, statistics, computer science, data science, or related fields,<\/strong> are encouraged to apply.<\/p><h3><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>[Qualification]<\/strong><\/h3><p>Applicants should hold a doctoral degree from an accredited academic institution (or equivalent), or expect to receive the doctoral degree by <strong>January 31, 2027<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Qualifications for Full, Associate, and Assistant Research Fellows follow the <em>Organization Regulations of the Research Institutes of Academia Sinica<\/em> (Articles 7\u20139):<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sinica.edu.tw\/en\/cp\/420\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.sinica.edu.tw\/en\/cp\/420<\/a><\/p><p>Candidates with a strong record of <strong>empirical research using advanced survey, quantitative, or computational methods<\/strong> and demonstrated potential for <strong>interdisciplinary collaboration<\/strong> will receive priority consideration.<strong> Proficiency in Chinese is not
