However, they also introduce complexities in design and implementation. Methodological research is essential for navigating these issues and enabling innovations in survey design. In this talk, I will describe my work examining three newer survey approaches: questionnaires optimized for mobile devices, app-based surveys modularized into shorter parts, and in the-moment surveys triggered by geolocation data.
