摘要：

This presentation will address the benefits and challenges of an aging society. With statistics and examples drawn from the United States, we first discuss enhancing future planning among older adults as one solution to the societal needs for supportive services for older adults. I will present an intervention designed for this purpose.  In the subsequent discussion, I hope to explore solutions found in Taiwanese society and how one might optimize quality of life in late life across cultures.
